How many messages will I receive?

It depends on your fan base and your reply price. Lower prices usually mean more messages, while higher prices mean fewer. You can adjust your price anytime to control the flow.

What is the difference between a text and video request from a fan?

Fans can choose how you reply. If a fan requests a video reply, you'll need to send a video to complete the reply and get paid.

How do I get more messages from my fans on OffScript?

Let your fans know you're on OffScript! Contact our support team, and we'll make a custom graphic for you to share on social media.

How do I become an athlete on OffScript?

Click "Apply to be an Athlete" on our website and fill out the questionnaire. We'll get back to you within 3-5 business days.

What are the qualifications to be an athlete on OffScript?

If you have fans and want to connect with them in a safe and meaningful way, you qualify.

Do I need social media to join OffScript as an athlete?

No. OffScript is for all athletes who want to connect with their fans, whether they're on social media or not.

Creating your profile

What price should I choose?

Choose a price that feels right for you. A higher price with thoughtful replies is better than a lower price with rushed ones. If you prefer video replies over text, consider setting a lower price for video replies.

Can I change my prices?

Yes! Anytime and as often as you'd like. See the next question for instructions.

How do I edit my profile?

Go to Settings in the OffScript app and tap Athlete Onboarding. All your prior information is there so you can easily edit what you want to change.

Messaging with fans

How will I be notified when I have a message request from a fan?

You'll receive a notification on your iPhone, make sure notifications are on. You’ll also receive email from OffScript.

What does "Ask for clarification" on a fan's message mean?

It lets you request more details before replying with no additional cost to the fan. Once you ask for clarification, the fan can respond, and your 72 hour reply window resets.

What happens if I don’t reply to a fan's message request in 72 hours?

The fan will receive an auto-response and can request a full refund. Since you missed the deadline, you won’t be paid, and you can no longer reply to the message.
